All participants will receive a commemorative pint glass, an official event shirt, a custom finisher medal and one free beer from Green Flash!
Craft Classic participants and guests 21 and over are invited to enjoy the post-race beer garden, brought to you by Green Flash Brewing Co., starting at 8:00AM. Not only will participants receive a complimentary beer, the Green Flash tasting room will be open and offering a 25% discount to all race bib holders. To enter the beer garden, you must have your ID verified and receive an official beer garden wristband. ID checkers will be on hand before and after the race.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Absolutely no one under the age of 21 will be admitted, including infants. Those under 21 are still welcome to participate in the race and will have access to the post-race refreshments, restrooms and awards area. Additionally, any unused Craft Classic beer tickets may be redeemed on race day for a voucher to return to Green Flash in the following month and receive a free beer.
Parking and Shuttles
The half marathon shuttles to the start, the half marathon finish line and the 5K start/finish line are all at the same place: Green Flash Brewing at the intersection of Sequence Dr. and Flanders Dr., San Diego, CA 92121.
Participants who plan to enjoy the beer garden are highly encouraged to use a ride share service on race day!
For those who plan to drive, half marathoners should arrive EARLY at the finish line area to park and take a shuttle to the start line. The shuttles run from 4:30-5:30AM. There is no official race parking at the half marathon start line, so if you choose to park there, it’s at your own risk. THERE ARE NO SHUTTLES returning to the start line after the race.
Half marathon and 5K participants can park in the large parking lot at 6450 Sequence Dr., San Diego, CA 92121. Parking attendants will be on hand to direct you to available spaces. Once that lot is full, you should look for street parking in the neighborhood, including Genetic Center Dr., Viper Way or Waples St.

Route 56 Race Series Half Marathon Medal
Participate in both the 2017 Craft Classic Half Marathon and 2017 San Diego Holiday Half Marathon and receive a special Route 56 Series medal that will be handed out at the Holiday Half finish line expo. You must register for Holiday Half by October 15 to qualify for the series medal.

Craft Classic participants will receive a special rate of $189/night for a 1 king bed room, $199/night for a 2 queen bed room and $209/night for a king suite room. 17 & under
Half Marathon Course Cutoff
The half marathon course will be closed at 3.5 hours. Starting at mile 7, participants who are not maintaining a 16-minute-per-mile pace will be picked up by a SAG vehicle. Anyone picked up by the SAG vehicle will have the opportunity to be dropped off further along the course.
Athletes Helping Athletes provides individually-propelled adaptive bikes to children with permanent physical disabilities 18 years and younger. You’d be amazed at the power a adaptive bike has to take a child from being stuck on the sidelines to becoming a full participant in the fun!
